Professional photographer Tiffany Warner explains a technique for composing eye-catching images.
๐ Forest Glade Gardens, Mount Macedon
If you want to create eye-catching images, look out for scenes with leading lines.
This image contains three sets of lines. I focused on the hedge in the bottom half and decided to include the branches in the top half. Additionally, the foliage provides sweeping lines of colour.
Before taking a photo, check your phone screen for leading lines. Does the scene include trees, water, hedges, fences, paths, etc? Do they lead to something else?
๐ก Tip: Look out for groups of leading lines. They can really enhance an image.
Happy snapping!
