As part of a series on smartphone photography, professional photographer Tiffany Warner explains how you can capture the glorious gardens at Forest Glade.
π Forest Glade Gardens, 816 Mount Macedon Rd, Mount Macedon
The smell of spring is in the air at Forest Glade, the flowers are blooming and the native birds are in abundance. The garden is open from 10am ($10 for adults) and last entry is at 4.30pm. Be prepared to spend at least half a day here if you want to enjoy the full experience and explore the whole 14 acres.
Itβs the perfect playground to take photographs, and in my featured image this week I have incorporated leading lines and textures. This makes the photo interesting because your eye is drawn to the stone path and the steps. I also love the pop of colour from the rhododendron.
π‘ Tip: To enhance texture of foliage (or, in this case, the stone path), adjust the Definition/Texture setting on an iPhone when editing your photo in Edit mode. There’s also an photo editing app for smartphones called Snapseed, which enables you to achieve similar results with its Detail setting.
Happy snapping!
