๐ Sanatorium Lake, Lions Head Rd, Mount Macedon
Sanatorium Lake, near the top of Mt Macedon, is impressive to photograph. The body of water is mirror-like and the beautiful gum trees make a perfect backdrop.
If you go early on a cool morning after some warm weather you may be lucky enough to catch steam rising from the water, which can be moody and picturesque. This particular photograph was taken mid-morning on a clear day to emphasise the reflections.
๐ก Tip: Try holding your phone upright to elongate your picture and split the image 50:50 across the middle, with the reflection as the bottom half.
Happy snapping!
Tiffany
