Saturday, April 8

Community Gisborne Easter Festival: Easter egg hunts (booking required), arts and crafts, carnival rides, face painting, egg-and-spoon and sack races. Gisborne Masonic Lodge, Aitken St, Gisborne. 10am-4pm. $15.

Community Blackwood Woodchop and Easter Carnival: Live music, gumboot-throwing competition, tug-of-war, pet show, treasure hunt, market stalls, face painting, games and races.
