When trying to photograph a bird with a smartphone, it’s best to wait until the bird is still. This can take a while, so be quiet and very patient.
Small birds can be difficult to capture in smartphone photos. However, if you move slowly around them, hold your phone steady, and look for a solid background – such as the tree trunk in this image – you’ll see their beautiful details more clearly. Try using x2 or x3 zoom to get even closer.
💡 Tip: Try capturing birds by sitting in a quiet spot in a park or garden where they’re known to visit.
