Professional photographer Tiffany Warner explains how reflections can give you a new perspective on a scene.

When I visited Malmsbury Fayre last Sunday, I took the opportunity to capture the market tents from a different angle, shooting them from across the lake. There were a few too many ripples, so the reflection wasn’t a perfect mirror this time.
Instead of using the rule of thirds, I split the frame in half – but you can, of course, experiment with different compositions. The lower you position your phone to the water, the more of the reflection you’ll capture in the shot.
Try this technique with different bodies of water; sunrise and sunset often produce stunning results.
💡 Tip: Try capturing reflections in water for more striking images.
Happy snapping!
