Welcome to Your Macedon Ranges for Monday, August 14, to Sunday, August 20.
💛 The best thing about producing this newsletter is when you tell me that it’s helped you to discover something locally. It warms my heart to hear things like “I’ve booked tickets for the Mount Players’ August production as a result of reading your email”. Helping you in this way is exactly why Your Macedon Ranges exists, and hearing from you is the fuel that keeps it going. (Plus coffee, of course!)
🐄 Do you own livestock? Agriculture specialist Gavin Beever will be giving a talk on Sunday about significant disease threats. During the session, which has been organised by Ashbourne Landcare and Agriculture Victoria, he will answer questions about what’s happening with Indonesia and Malaysia at the moment and the recent spate of sudden horse deaths; plus he will provide guidance for developing a biosecurity plan. The talk will be at Tylden Hall (2pm-5pm). Land owners and managers from across the district are welcome to attend.

How am I doing?
Your Macedon Ranges is researched, written, and edited by me alone. Compiling it takes me 10+ hours each week. I love doing it, and the response has been incredible. I’m very grateful for your kind words.
If you find value in the newsletter, I’d so appreciate you subsidising my coffee habit … it helps with the collating and the writing!
