Welcome to Your Macedon Ranges for Monday, August 15, to Sunday, August 21.
📅 Spring is almost upon us, and after two years of lockdown disruption, some familiar events are popping back up. Kyneton Daffodil & Arts Festival will get the season under way (Sept 1-11). Our two agricultural shows, at Lancefield (Oct 16) and Kyneton (Nov 19), will be returning. And, as previously mentioned in this newsletter, Garden Lovers Fair (Oct 1-2), Spring Bliss Festival (Nov 5) and Mountain Writers Festival (Nov 4-6) are on the way. For wine lovers, Budburst is due to take place over the weekend of November 19-20. And this week it was announced that Malmsbury Village Fayre will be back (Nov 20) in the beautiful setting of the botanical gardens. Spring’s a season of hope, and there’s lots to look forward to here.

How am I doing?
Your Macedon Ranges is researched, written, and edited by me alone. Compiling it takes me 10+ hours each week. I love doing it, and the response has been incredible. I’m very grateful for your kind words.
If you find value in the newsletter, I’d so appreciate you subsidising my coffee habit … it helps with the collating and the writing!

🍟 KYNETON: Residents are considering Supreme Court action to prevent the development of a Bunnings, a McDonald’s, another restaurant and a 24-hour service station on the edge of the town.
