👒 Grab some stockings and straw and string, it’s time to build a scarecrow! Workshops will be held on Saturday and Sunday for anyone who would like to enter Kyneton Daffodil and Arts Festival’s scarecrow competition. Scarecrows will be displayed outside homes and businesses around Kyneton during the festival.
🎥 Filmmaker Michael Dillon, from Woodend, has released a feature-length documentary chronicling the 1963 expedition that first attempted to scale Australia’s highest mountain, Big Ben on Heard Island. 🏠 WOODEND: The smallest house in Woodend is being reimagined as a Beachcomber. New owner Eric Burton decided to build on top of the one-room cabin to avoid going through a lengthy planning permit process.
🐎 WOODEND: Equestrian facilities could be relocated from Woodend Racecourse Reserve under one of the options identified by the shire council’s future planning for the site.
