How am I doing?
Your Macedon Ranges is researched, written, and edited by me alone. Compiling it takes me 10+ hours each week. I love doing it, and the response has been incredible. I’m very grateful for your kind words.
If you find value in the newsletter, I’d so appreciate you subsidising my coffee habit … it helps with the collating and the writing!

GISBORNE FOUNTAIN
Professional photographer Tiffany Warner explains how to make the most of a sunset.

đź“Ť Gisborne Fountain
Sunsets are fun to capture. I took this image of Gisborne as I was leaving a restaurant. The sky was pink, and I immediately started searching for the best spot to photograph it.
When shooting a sunset, consider your background carefully. A well-chosen background can enhance the beautiful patterns in the sky. Decide on the best position for your shot to create a balanced composition.
I always like to include a point of interest in my images, and on this occasion, I chose the fountain. As an added bonus, the water provided a reflection that further enriched the scene.
đź’ˇ Tips: Include an interesting foreground element to add depth to your image, and look out for possible reflections in windows or water.
Happy snapping!
Tiffany
