🏡 Following on from Mount Macedon being named the state’s top tiny tourism town last year comes the news that Woodend has been ranked the most liveable town in regional Victoria, according to analysis by PwC (via Herald Sun). Woodend was considered the No.1 tree-change destination based on a range of factors, including transport links, services and jobs. See below for more local news.

🌷 DENVER: One of Australia’s most amazing private gardens will become a luxury retreat after an $11m deal between two of the country’s biggest names in landscape design. Paul Bangay’s celebrated home Stonefields has been bought by Jamie Durie.
🛒 ROMSEY: The shire council has conditionally approved a new Coles supermarket. Mayor Annette Death said: “An estimated 2,000 people moved to Romsey and surrounds from 2011 to 2021. This proposed supermarket is a welcome response to helping service that population growth.”
