🏉 If you enjoy local history, two events this month may be of interest. Lancefield Football Club turned 150 this year. Denis Graham, who contributed to a book about the Tigers, will be talking about the club’s proud history at Lancefield Mechanics Institute on July 18. Additionally, Dr Susan Walter will be highlighting the use of local bluestone in significant buildings in Australia and overseas. Malmsbury viaduct is a fine example – all the stone having been quarried from less than a mile away. The talk will be in Kyneton on July 20.
