🪲 Beetles will be appearing in Woodend this week, along with stick insects, silkworms, spiders, scorpions and many other minibeasts. They’ll all be at the National Entomology Insect Expo, which will be held at the Buffalo Stadium, in Forest St, from Friday to Sunday.

In the news
💰 MACEDON RANGES: The shire council will embark on its biggest capital works program in six years – a total of $41.2 million – following the adoption of its budget for 2022-23. Woodend Golf Club and St Ambrose Primary School are among the organisations that will benefit.
🏏 HANGING ROCK: Sporting clubs affected by the Hanging Rock master plan have been told that the shire council will “prioritise actions and discussions” to find them new facilities close to their current locations.
