Welcome to Your Macedon Ranges for Monday, March 27, to Sunday, April 2.
🧵 Kyneton Museum will repeon on Saturday with an exhibition about crafts and hobbies of the past. The museum, housed in a 166-year-old former bank building in Piper St, has been closed since December for restoration work. The new exhibition, Stitch in Time, will feature materials created and used by the people of the Macedon Ranges to not only occupy themselves but for daily wear and use.
* Update (March 30): The opening of the Stitch in Time exhibition at Kyneton Museum has been pushed back to June 30.
🥕 The search is on for the most delicious plant-based food in the Macedon Ranges. Woodend’s Cafe Paysanne emerged as the champion in the inaugural Edgy Veg Awards last year. This time around, 26 cafes and restaurants will be putting their best veg-based dishes forward. The competition runs throughout April. Click here to find out about the entries and how to vote.
