How am I doing?
Your Macedon Ranges is researched, written, and edited by me alone. Compiling it takes me 10+ hours each week. I love doing it, and the response has been incredible. I’m very grateful for your kind words.
If you find value in the newsletter, I’d so appreciate you subsidising my coffee habit … it helps with the collating and the writing!

SUNSET VIEWS
Professional photographer Tiffany Warner explains how to frame a sunset.

I love a sunset and pulled over to the side of the road to capture this beauty. I sought out a point of interest – the old gum tree and the little family of cows surrounding it. While waiting for the sky to reach a rich orange hue, I took great delight in watching the calf dance around the trunk.
I framed the image using the rule of thirds, leaving the top two-thirds for the sky’s colours and the bottom third for the grass. By placing the tree to the left, I created an open composition that allows the viewer to take in the lovely sky.
💡 Tip: Remember to look for a point of interest, but make sure it doesn’t obscure the entire view.
Happy snapping!
Tiffany
