Welcome to Your Macedon Ranges for Monday, May 2, to Sunday, May 8.
🥔 Spudfest is back! The celebration of Trentham’s proud potato-growing history will be taking place on Saturday. “It’s always a fantastic event, with plenty on offer for everyone,” the organisers say. “There will be freshly dug taters for sale, potato-themed food trucks, gourmet produce, artisan craft stalls, horse and cart rides, Devonshire teas, mini golf, face painting, live performances, ice creams, and all the fabulous stores and cafes of Trentham.”
🌲 Do you enjoy spending time in our natural environment? Riddells Creek Landcare is inviting people to discover Barrm Birrm, the forest that overlooks the township. From yam daisies to grass trees, Barrm Birrm is a flora haven. Two working bees are being held, on Sunday morning and on May 22.
🎭 After announcing that its popular fireworks display would be going ahead in June, Woodend Winter Arts Festival has released its events program. Meanwhile, Kyneton Town Hall’s new line-up of shows will be launched on Friday.
🚀 Finally, it’s Star Wars Day on Wednesday (and two of our libraries will be celebrating – details below). May the Force be with you!

How am I doing?
Your Macedon Ranges is researched, written, and edited by me alone. Compiling it takes me 10+ hours each week. I love doing it, and the response has been incredible. I’m very grateful for your kind words.
If you find value in the newsletter, I’d so appreciate you subsidising my coffee habit … it helps with the collating and the writing!
