Welcome to Your Macedon Ranges for Monday, May 23, to Sunday, May 29.
🏉 If you enjoy hearing about sporting shenanigans from yesteryear, a couple of events in Gisborne may interest you. On Friday, Doug Hawkins will be entertaining a lunchtime audience with stories from his time at Footscray and Fitzroy. Then, on June 8, it’ll be the turn of the Collingwood “Ratpack” – Dane Swan, Alan Didak, Ben Johnson and Heath Shaw – to tell all (or at least some of it).
Here are the events and activities happening in the Macedon Ranges this week:

How am I doing?
Your Macedon Ranges is researched, written, and edited by me alone. Compiling it takes me 10+ hours each week. I love doing it, and the response has been incredible. I’m very grateful for your kind words.
If you find value in the newsletter, I’d so appreciate you subsidising my coffee habit … it helps with the collating and the writing!
In the news
🚆 MACEDON RANGES: Work to remove Gap Rd level-crossing in Sunbury is due to begin on May 30. Expect major disruption to rail services on the Bendigo line from June 3-29. Buses and coaches will replace trains for all or part of the journey.
