🎶 Jessica Mauboy, Baker Boy and King Stingray are among more than 20 artists who will be performing at Hanging Rock on November 27 (the day after Nick Cave’s shows). The concert, First & Forever, will celebrate Blak excellence and contemporary First Nations culture and music. The line-up has been curated by Bad Apples Music founder Briggs with support from Paul Kelly. Tickets will go on sale on Friday (October 14).
🐳 If you’d like to see Lano & Woodley when they come to Kyneton, don’t delay. The comedy duo will be performing at Kyneton Town Hall on May 27 next year. Their show, Moby Dick, was announced on Thursday and tickets are selling fast.

🚗 WOODEND/MACEDON: Macedon Ranges Residents Association is urging locals to have their say on the draft plans for Black Forest Drive. “The designs suggest this isn’t a lot different from what was proposed in 2010 and 2021,” MRRA president Christine Pruneau said.
🐄 ROMSEY: Farmers are considering taking legal action against Greater Western Water after treated sewage water was released into Deep Creek.
🏏 MACEDON RANGES: Draft master plans for three recreational hubs – Gilbert Gordon Oval in Woodend, Romsey Park Sports Precinct and Kyneton Showgrounds – have been published. A four-week community consultation period has begun.
