Professional photographer Tiffany Warner shares a tip for capturing moody winter scenes.
π Cameron Drive, Mount Macedon
Itβs a great time of year to capture moody scenes. Travel to a high spot, such as the top of Mt Macedon, on a dreary, drizzling morning and you might find yourself surrounded by clouds or fog.
To show the thickness of fog, follow a line that leads into it, such as a road or a path, and make that the central part of your image. This will make the viewer feel like they are looking into an arch or tunnel as the path fades from sight.
π‘ Tip: Follow a road or path to show the thickness and depth of clouds or fog.
Happy snapping!
