As part of a series on smartphone photography, professional photographer Tiffany Warner explains how you can entice viewers in to your photos.

With spring well and truly in full bloom, I thought I would continue with the flower theme this week but with a twist.
Have a look for leading lines such as a fence, a row of trees, or even a winding driveway. These lines create interest and provide something for the viewer to follow, resulting in longer engagement with your photos.
For this image, I used Portrait mode to add blur to the background. I lined up my phone along the fence post towards the flowers, which were my point of interest. Always check your screen and move it around until you like what you see. By using the fence in this way, I was able to capture the roses on both sides.
๐ก Tip: Look for leading lines.
Happy snapping!
