It’s Anzac Day on Sunday and because of the pandemic the traditional dawn service on Mount Macedon won’t be taking place. However, a virtual dawn service has been filmed at the Memorial Cross and locations around the district. You can view it online from Sunday morning.

[Remembrance] Mount Macedon Anzac Day Dawn Service (online only): A virtual service will be broadcast this morning in place of the traditional service at the Memorial Cross, which has been cancelled this year.
[Remembrance] Kyneton Anzac Day commemorations: The dawn service and the Anzac Day service will take place. There will be no Gunfire Breakfast but refreshments will be served at the RSL after the 10am service. Cenotaph, Mollison St, Kyneton. Dawn service 6am, Anzac Day service 10am.
[Remembrance] Woodend Anzac Day commemorations: Veterans and service members will march down Schaw St footpath. A service will be held at Woodend RSL hall, followed by light refreshments. Schaw St & Anslow St, Woodend. March at 12:15pm, service at 12.30pm.
